Description
Currently, the LinkGrabber filter works only on links (I think as they are provided, not trimmed).
The proposal is to filter out links based on the provided URL, but add an option to refilter the link after the URL is trimmed and the file-name appended.
Reason: Many sites now do not require (or even support) including the file name in the URL, so filtering on file name or extension is not available until after the initial contact with the host about the link.
For example, my computer (drbits) cannot display 720p X26x AVI files. Being able to automatically filter these out would be quite helpful, but MegaUpload URLs do not have the information.
Filter before lookup is mostly useful for elimination of hosts or links that are often accidentally picked up, because of the page layout (buttons or images).
