Add port 443 redirection to proxy page
|Target version:||JDownloader - FarfarAway|
Even when not using a proxy, JDownloader should be able to automatically communicate HTTP via port 443 (HTTPS without the URL change). This is necessary for several reasons:
1) Most of the world's population cannot trust their ISP. Even in the USA, ISPs can no longer be trusted not to transfer connection information without a warrant.
2) SSL2 and SSL3 connections only require significant overhead for the "Hello" phase of the connection. The "One-time-pad" encryption has minor CPU requirements and no additional IO requirements.
3) Many of the hosts support SSL2 for all users or for all premium users. This includes Hotfile.
4) SSL is faster and more reliable than proxies.
Technical details are in Developer Description.
Note: Because RapidShare AG has a special rate structure for SSL (charging over 10 times the actual cost for SSL calculations), the SSL setting should still remain in the Rapidshare Host Settings.
Target version 1.10.
