Operations such as such as reconnection, Check for Updates (when none are available), Captcha answer, and several others provide no feedback.

For example, after a (un)successful reconnection, some kind of feedback should be displayed (possibly show the icon in Green for a settable time (default 30 seconds). A failure should either display a dialogue (with only a Cancel button) or show the icon in blinking Orange for the same amount of time.

Providing an improper response for a dialogue box should show a dialogue with a message and only a Cancel button or should be displayed in Orange at the top of the retry box. Pressing Enter (or Submit) on an empty line (or a line containing a hyphen) should display a different message from a wrong input.
